UPDATE: Lynnway Crash Victims Identified
State Police are investigating the early Saturday morning accident.

LYNN, MA - A man and a woman died in a single car crash on the Lynnway in Lynn early Saturday morning.
At about 2:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a single-car crash on the Lynnway (Route 1A) in Lynn in the area of Blossom Street. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to the two occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman.
The victims were identified Salvador Quinones, 26, of Boston and Silvia Rodas-Dugal, 25, of Chelsea.

Preliminary investigation indicates that, for reasons still under investigation, the victims’ sport utility vehicle left the roadway and struck a building housing a Dunkin Donuts on the northbound side of the Lynnway, according to State Police. After impact with the building the vehicle came to rest in the middle northbound lane. Both victims were ejected and determined to be dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by troopers from the State Police Barracks in Revere with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis Section and Crime Scene Services Section.

The northbound side of the Lynnway was closed early Saturday morning as police continued their investigation.
