U14 Soccer Girls Rout Nor'easters 5-0
The Swampscott Stripers winning streak moved to two. They have yet to be scored upon while tallying 10 goals of their own.
The girls U14 Swampscott Stripers soccer team continued their winning streak Saturday with another shutout, defeating Newburyport 5-0 in their first home game.
Maggie Barden broke the ice with a hooked shot from the wide left side of the Newburyport goal. Margot Beaupre continued the offensive streak with a well placed shot in the upper left corner for her first goal of the season.

Next Morgan McBurney made a well placed pass to Olivia Sousa who tapped in goal number three. The Stripers fourth goal was scored by Liza McCathern assisted by last week's high scorer Amanda Szczawinski.
The final goal was another hook shot by Claire Powell who spent the first half tending a quiet Swampscott goal.

The Stripers continue to be unscored upon thanks to their solid defensive trio of Rebecca Price, Taylor McBurney and Anne Vogel.
Molly Marocco and Anna Cilley controlled the middle of the field and supported their teammates playing nearly the entire game.
Forwards Julia Kornerup and Codi Butt peppered the Newburyport goalie in the second half but didn't manage to get one past.
The Stripers are undefeated with 2 wins, 10 goals scored and none scored against. The girls have been practicing late nights at the under the lights and their efforts are paying dividends.
