Van Drives Unresponsive Woman to Police Station, But She Was 'Just Sleeping'

Thursday, April 30

At 12:07 a.m., a caller requested assistance because her oven wouldn’t shut off.

At 11:45 a.m., the principal at Stanley School spoke with police about an employee who had not shown up for work.

At 12:01 p.m., a report of a wire down on Lewis Road and Pleasant Street was reported.

At 1:15 p.m., a caller reported a person smoking pot in a black BMW parked in the Starbucks lot.

At 4:32 p.m., a past motor vehicle breaking and entering on Erie Street was reported.

At 6:34 p.m., a report came in about an owner refusing to put an aggressive dog on a leash at the high school lower field.

Friday, May 1

At 8:26 p.m., a van brought an unresponsive woman to the police station. EMS checked the woman who regained consciousness and said she was just sleeping. She refused transport to the hospital. Police took her to the train station.

Saturday, May 2

At 7:34 a.m., a caller reported their vehicle had been struck overnight.

At 10:24 a.m., a caller reported that a new boyfriend stole cash from the bedroom.

At 1:28 p.m., a solicitor came to the station to register and was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a license. A licensed driver came to pick up the vehicle and a criminal application was issued.

At 1:36 p.m., a brush fire on Danvers Road by the train station was called in.

Sunday, May 3

At 10:51 a.m., a caller reported her dog was bitten by another dog at Preston Beach.

At 11:08 a.m., a caller told police that he believed he was being followed.

At 6:34 p.m., a woman reported her credit card had been used fraudulently.

At 8:05 p.m., a caller reported a small bag behind Marshall’s appeared to be smoldering or possibly burning very close to the building. The fire department responded and extinguished a small fire.
