Swampscott Veterans Beach Party Planned For Lynn's Red Rock Park
The Swampscott/Lynn Disabled American Veterans chapter is organizing the event Sunday featuring food, drinks, games and information.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — North Shore veterans and their families are invited to Red Rock Park in Lynn on Sunday for a beach party featuring food, drinks, and beach games, as well as a chance to socialize and gain information on the support services available.
The Swampscott/Lynn E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans are organizing the event with funding from a Save the Harbor/Save the Bay Better Beach Program grant.
"We are hoping that this event will both be fun and informative for all veterans." E.F. Gilmore Commander Jeffrey Blonder said.

The event is set from noon to 3 p.m. and is free to attend for veterans and their families.
