Volunteers Needed For Swampscott Farmers Market

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Swampscott Farmers Market will kick off a new season on Sunday with community volunteers being sought.

The market will run each Sunday — rain or shine — starting June 9 and running through Oct. 17. The market offers a wide selection of farm-fresh food, local craft vendors, entertainment and information booths.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each week.

Swampscott Recreation is looking for volunteers for the season. Those who are able to volunteer for a few Sundays over the course of the summer and early fall are encouraged to email Lori Jackson at jacksonsix@hotmail.com to work out a schedule of what they can help.
