Here are some headlines you may have missed.

We had a little bit of everything happening this week in Swampscott. Here are five stories you may have missed out on during the week. 

1. With the announcement of many in town are sad to see it go. There is little foot traffic where the store is located and because of business, owner Susan Ellsworth has decided to close it. The last official day the store will remain open is Aug. 19. 

2. met on on Wednesday night. The game ended in a 6-6 tie.

3. A had heads turning this week when it showed up randomly. As of Wednesday evening they were still on the beach. 

4. had the chance to practice at the Stanley School parking lot this week. Their ladder was being repaired so Melrose let them borrow theirs for the day. Kids at the Park and Rec program got a chance to see them work.

5) Read this on coaches and their players reactions to legendary Coach Al Duratti's passing. Duratti was part of the baseball program for 50 years. He definitely left his mark.
