What's Open, Closed in Swampscott for the July 4 Weekend

Saturday is Independence Day, and chances are you’ve got plans for the weekend. Make sure your propane tank is filled, you’ve got some sparklers and there are enough buns and beer.

Take a look at what’s open and closed on July 4 AND keep in mind that July 3 is a federal holiday this year, so federal offices will be closed Friday. That also means banks, the Swampscott Town Hall and the Swampscott Public Library are closed on Friday, July 3.

• Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed.
• Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only.
