This Will Be the 10th Straight Weekend of Snow

Light snow is in the forecast for Swampscott Saturday and we're more than a week into spring.

We’re already a week into spring—but this is New England so it should come as no surprise that more snow is on the way.

A little less than an inch of snow will cover the region Saturday. Parts of the coast could get as much as 3 inches.

Here’s the Swampscott forecast:

  • Friday night: Possible snow with accumulation less than half an inch. Low around 33 degrees.
  • Saturday: Snow showers. High 36. About an inch of snow accumulation expected.
  • Saturday night: Snow showers mainly before 1 a.m. Less than half an inch accumulation expected.
  • Sunday: Sunny. High 37.

It will be the 10th straight weekend of snow in the Boston area.
