Woman Reports Receiving Electrical Shock from Crosswalk Button

Thursday, April 2

At 8:10 a.m., a residential fire alarm was tripped. It appeared to have been tripped by a FedEx driver dropping off a package.

At 6:10 p.m., a resident reported finding several boxes of ammo and requested an officer to secure it.

At 8:43 p.m., a woman reported that a dog broke free from its owners and attacked her dog while out for a walk. Her dog did not appear injured, but she wanted the information noted.

At 9:45 p.m., a CVS manager called reporting two possible shoplifters, a man and woman, in the store. They were suspected of concealing cosmetics. Police spoke with the suspects and didn’t locate any merchandise on them.

Friday, April 3

At 1:10 p.m., a caller reported kids were jumping off the floats in the parking lot at the Fish House. The caller was concerned they could get hurt.

At 5:14 p.m., a woman called to report she received an electrical shock from the crosswalk button at Essex Street and Stetson Avenue. She was uninjured, but wanted to report the situation to the DPW.

At 6:36 p.m., a horse was reportedly running loose near the Marblehead-Swampscott line. The horse was captured and noted as safely home in Marblehead.
