The 10U Tewksbury Chiefs have the ability to play as a team on and off the field. All though the kids will be part of many youth teams before they graduate to high school only a few they’ll remember. These kids will defiantly remember their experience as a team player with the 10U chiefs. Coached by John Fuedo who has the patience of a saint along with the knowledge and love of the game he has a unique way to lift the boys up after their 3rd strike or that fast ball to the square of their back. I as the team photographer get to see the boys interact up close and witness the team work first hand. Many times the boys may have missed that fly ball or the pitcher walked his 4 batter and the boys still encouraged one another. Games of the past I was able to capture these moments and share them with their families. The one thing I concentrate on capturing are all the smiles that are still present when were down 3 runs in the 9th inning or even after a tough loss.
The boys have the ability at a young age to count on each other , accept their roles on the team and are willing to make personal sacrifices. Not many youth teams can claim this. This leads back to great coaching which instills these qualities in these young baseball players.
Keep working hard, never give up!
