12 Vendors, Kona Ice Truck, Dance School At 8/27 Community Market

Jones Farm, Dargoonian Farm, Tewksbury Honey, Tewksbury Greenery & more!

TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Community Market, located on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street), is open this Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 4pm to 7pm.

This week’s featured vendors include Dargoonian Farm (vegetables & flowers), Fudge ‘n Stuff (fudge, popcorn & granola), Jones Farm (fruits & veggies), the Nana Bee (small quilted items), Peacock Chalk (signs & home décor), Scents Delivered (soaps), Seafood Express (seafood), Tewksbury Florist & Greenery (flowers & plants), Tewksbury Honey (honey), Usborne Books (children’s books), and Wilmington Clayworks (ceramics & pottery), plus the Tewksbury Public Library’s Community Garden (vegetables).

The Kona Ice Truck will be on hand selling delicious Hawaiian shaved ice.

Students from Tricia’s Dance School in Tewksbury will perform from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on the lawn next to the library’s patio.

Guitarist Arnie Rosen will perform from 4pm to 5:30pm on the library’s patio, next to the market. Rosen has performed classical, jazz and original music throughout New England, including at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge. He also performs regularly at several local spots, including Café Silcia in Tewksbury. Rosen is a longtime music therapist.

Stop by the market’s Community Tables this week to learn about Into Action Recovery and All- In Energy.

Miss Heather, of the library’s Children’s Room, will hold a Nighttime Craft from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the library’s Craft Room.

Learn how to use DNA technology in your genealogy research at 7pm in the library’s Meeting Room. DNA can help fill in your family trees, confirm relationships, break down brick walls, and suggest new directions for traditional genealogical research. Pedigree maps, chromosome browsers, matrices, and how to use various types of spreadsheets will be introduced as time permits. The workshop is led by Dr. Sandy Murray, a cell biologist and DNA genetic genealogy expert.

The Market will be open on Tuesdays through the end of September.
