2 Charged In Burglary Of Tewksbury Liquor Store: Police
Two men are accused of breaking and entering a Tewksbury liquor store late Wednesday night, police said.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Two people were arrested and charged with breaking and entering in Tewksbury, according to police.
Police responded to Smitty's Liquor at 1091 Main St. on a report of two people who appeared to be smashing the front door Wednesday at 11:21 p.m.
Police arrived at the store and saw a person running away. Police later identified the man as Miguel Gomes, 21, of Kingston.

Officers then found a second person leaving the area who was identified as Aiden Holgun, 18, of Lynn.
An initial investigation found the two broke the glass window and front door and stole merchandise.

Officers found several bottles of alcohol among Gomes's belongings, according to police.
Gomes and Holgun were charged with breaking and entering during nighttime, larceny from a building, and vandalizing property.
They were scheduled for arraignment Thursday at Lowell District Court.
