2 Charged In Tewksbury Drug Deal: Police
Two people were arrested following an investigation in Tewksbury, according to police.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Two people are facing charges in a drug case, according to Tewksbury police.
Police conducted an investigation Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the area of Ames Hill Drive.
Officers saw what appeared to be a drug deal involving two people. A police dog recovered about 10 pills found to be counterfeit oxycodone pills.

A 27-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested and charged with distribution of a class A substance. A 33-year-old Norwood man was charged with possession of a class A substance.
“We encourage our residents to call us if they suspect criminal activity as we will act swiftly to address the issue," Chief Ryan Columbus said in a statement. "I’m grateful that our drug unit was able to stop this activity from occurring in one of our neighborhoods."
