Enjoy a concert from Fiona Corinne, a spunky and spirited singer-songwriter who puts her own showtune twist on pop/rock, creating an honest and unique musical experience. Fiona sings and accompanies herself on keyboard as a solo act with an attitude. At a mere 5’1”, Fiona may be tiny, but she has a big personality and an even bigger voice! From opera to 80s hair metal, she draws inspiration from anything and everything. Fiona is recently back from tour and has released a full-length acoustic album, "Here's to My." Concert to take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, concert will take place in the library’s Meeting Room. TEWKSBURY JOB SEEKERS: Get Ready For Your Next Job Interview

Monday, August 13, 2pm

Today’s job seeker must be prepared for any interview scenario: by phone, by Skype and in-person. This session will outline steps to get yourself prepared, tips for handling various interview situations, what information is essential to brush up on, as well as potential questions you’ll need to be ready to answer. Bring your interviewing questions for the Q&A afterward. Led by Elizabeth Gross, owner of Job Search Divas. A former marketing executive at Monster.com, Gross has assisted countless people with their resumes and job searches. She now helps clients manage all aspects of their job search journey, ensuring a more productive and rewarding search. Register HERE.

FOR KIDS

Barks & Books with Prince

Monday, August 13, 5pm-6pm

For students reading INDEPENDENTLY in Grades K to 5. Kids (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one session with our service dog Prince on Mondays. Each session lasts for 15 minutes. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours to read. No other adults or children are allowed in the room during the session. This is a great way to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner! Registration is required. Calling the Children's Room at 978-640-4490.
