Wednesday, August 15, 6:30pm

Actress Laura Adams will perform her one-woman show, "Marie Curie's Curiosity." Madame Marie Curie discusses her life in science and how her curiosity, passion, and perseverance helped her overcome obstacles that she faced when winning two Nobel Prizes, one in chemistry and one in physics, and continuing on to build two research institutes. Laura Adams, as Marie Curie, will come in and out of character to tell Madame Curie’s life story since there are some aspects of Marie Curie’s life that she would rather not discuss. Performance to take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, concert will take place in the library’s first-floor Fairgrieve Wing. Look for the overflow parking signs if the main parking lot fills up. Register HERE.
