FOR ADULTS

OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES: The Gloucester Hornpipe & Clog Society
Monday, July 9, 6:30pm

Enjoy a concert featuring Celtic music from The Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society. The band has delighted audiences since 1971 with a lively mix of Celtic jigs and reels, American Colonial-era tunes, sing-along sea chanteys, and original songs of colorful people and places from New England's rich history. From ragtime to old-time, the band's rollicking, friendly style is fun for all ages. The six-person band layers vibrant vocals and hearty harmonies with 16 different instruments, including fiddle, flute, banjo, tin whistle, accordion, mountain dulcimer, and guitar. Concert to take place on the library's back lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In case of inclement weather, concert will take place in the library’s Meeting Room. Look for the overflow parking signs if the main parking lot fills up. Register HERE.

Summer Sprouts Story Time

Monday, July 9, 10:15am and 11am

For babies ages 0 to 18 months. Older siblings are always welcome to join in! Join us for a fun session of stories, songs, fingerplays and gentle movement that help build early literacy skills. Please note, we have 2 sessions that are the same, one is at 10:15am and the other is at 11:00am. There is no registration; HOWEVER, there is limited space in the room. Please check in at the Children's desk upon arrival to check to see if there is still room available in the session. No registration.

Maker Mondays

Monday, July 9, 2pm-3pm

Join us every Monday afternoon to make some kind of craft activity. It will be different each week. Drop by any time during the hour to create that week's project. For ages 5 to 11. No registration.
