Author Ezra Parzybok will discuss his new book, "Cannabis Consulting: Helping Patients, Parents, and Practitioners Understand Medical Marijuana." As the movement for legalization of marijuana spreads across the country, it is important to weigh the possible benefits and pitfalls of cannabis use. Explore the marijuana debate – look beyond the hype and disinformation on both sides to chart a new path toward rational and safe use of cannabis. Acting Up with Reader's Theatre (*RR)

For independently reading children ages 8 to 11. Kids will have the most success if they are comfortable reading out loud in front of a crowd. Join us as we create a short one-of-a-kind play based on a book. Attendees MUST BE ABLE TO COME TO BOTH SESSIONS: Wednesday, July 25th and Thursday, the 26th. Both sessions are from 10:30am – 12:00pm. On Wednesday, we will read the book, put together our script, assign parts and rehearse. On Thursday, we will rehearse and hold the performance at 12:15pm. Exploding Atoms: Grades 4-8 (*RR)

Welcome to the Exploding Atoms science club! We do some experiments and talk about science stuff. I have books I will bring in from time to time! Meetings are in the Craft Room on June 28, July 12, July 26, and August 9. This is a peer-run program lead by Morgan who loves science and wanted to create a club where she could do experiments and talk about science with other kids. This program will be supervised by library staff. Register HERE.

WEEKLY ADULT SUMMER READING RAFFLE: Mexica Gift Card

Tomorrow (Friday) is the final day to enter this week's Adult Summer Reading Raffle. Simply fill out the entry form at the Front Desk for every book you've read (or listened to) since your last library visit. Winner will be notified Monday morning. This week's prize is a $20 gift card to Mexica Burrito Grill in Tewksbury.
