Author Evan Drellich will discuss his new book, "The Big 50: Boston Red Sox." Experienced sportswriter Evan Drellich recounts the living history of the Red Sox, counting down from No. 50 to No. 1. Learn about and revisit the team's remarkable stories, from Ted Williams to David Ortiz, to the roller coaster that was the 2004 playoffs, to the team’s subsequent World Series championships and current stars like Mookie Betts. Drellich covers the Red Sox for NBC Sports Boston, and has also reported on the team for the Boston Herald, MassLive.com and MLB.com. You can catch him on WEEI and MLB Network as well. Join Sagit Zilberman as she leads us in a journey around the world with different unusual instruments. You will be dancing and singing and fascinated with the amazing instruments Sagit shows us. This program is limited to 50 people. Tickets required. Tickets are available at the Children's Room Desk. Every "body" entering the room needs a ticket.
Teen Dodgeball: Grades 6-12 (FOR TEENS)

We'll be playing different dodgeball games in the back of the library. We will be using soft foam balls instead of the rubbery playground balls. Snacks and water will be provided! Register HERE.
Monthly Documentary Film Screening: Strong Island (FOR ADULTS)

Enjoy a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary – “Strong Island.” The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at this year's Academy Awards. Examining the violent death of the filmmaker's brother and the judicial system that allowed his killer to go free, this documentary interrogates murderous fear and racialized perception, and re-imagines the wreckage in catastrophe's wake, challenging us to change. TV-MA. 107 minutes. Doors will open at 12:15pm. Candy & water will be provided. A $1 donation is suggested. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library and Tewksbury Lions Club. Friends of the Library: Ice Cream Raffle (FOR ALL AGES)
July 1-July 27
The Friends of the Library is raffling off a $25 gift certificate to Mac’s Dairy Farm during the month of July. Tickets cost $2 each or five for $5. Tickets can be purchased at the library’s Front Desk. Drawing will be held on Thursday, July 27. Winner will be notified via phone. Proceeds to benefit the Library
