Rockabye Beats Concert with Marcos Valles
Tuesday, September 11, 11am
For ages 2 to 6. Older and younger siblings are always welcome! Welcome back musician Marcos Valles of Rockabye Beats as he leads us in a fun concert of music and movement, sprinkling in plenty of Spanish words and phrases as we go! Marcos was a big hit here at the library in May. No registration required! Simply come on down to enjoy the music.
FOR TEENS
3D Video Game Design
Tuesday, September 11, 3:30pm
Game systems like PS4, XBOX One, and Wii U are opening endless possibilities in 3D game design. 3D is tricky, even for adults, but kids can now create their own simple games using Unity, a leading platform in 3D game design. Kids start by learning to move around in a virtual 3D environment, then move on to designing a 3D world for their stories and programming character control. Games can be shared with friends & family for at-home beta-testing! This program is run by a teacher from Empow Studios. Grades 6-8. Register HERE.
