Citizen Archive Training

In ONE hour you can save history for generations to come! Join us to learn how to save U.S. National Archives' historic documents, photos, and illustrations by typing and tagging! We will teach you how to create an account, navigate the National Archives' website and get tips on transcribing and tagging. Bring your own laptop or use one of ours! Limited to 8 seats. Evening Book Group Meeting: The Daring Ladies of Lowell

The library's Evening Book Group is reading The Daring Ladies of Lowell by Kate Alcott this month. Moving to the mill city of Lowell in 1832 to escape farm life, young Alice is disillusioned by the local factory's harsh working conditions and struggles to advocate on their behalf while recklessly falling in love with the mill owner's son, a situation that is complicated by a murder and a sensational trail.
