Enjoy a screening of the recently released, critically acclaimed documentary, Pope Francis: A Man Of His Word. Pope Francis travels the world speaking to those in need and delivering a message of hope. Rated PG. 96 minutes. Doors will open 30 minutes early. Candy and bottled water will be served. Crafternoon

Wednesday, December 19, 1:30pm

Calling all knitters, crocheters, needle workers, beaders, and colorers! Bring your own craft project to the Library and work on it while enjoying conversation with other crafters. (Please, no crafts involving glue or paint.) Take advantage of the many books available at the library to get ideas for your next project or to explore a new craft. No registration required.

Wacky Word Writer’s Workshop

Wednesday, December 19, 3:30pm

For kids ages 8 to 11 (in grades 3 to 5). Do you like writing? Join Miss Heather as she leads us in writing games and challenges. Limited to 10. Register HERE.

Barks & Books

Wednesday, December 5, 4:30pm-5:30pm

For students reading INDEPENDENTLY in Grades K to 5. Kids (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one session with our service dog Misty on Wednesdays. Each session lasts for 15 minutes in private in our Story Time Room. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours to read. This is a great way to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner! Register HERE or by calling 978-640-4490.

Festival of Trees

There are 40 Christmas trees throughout the building, decorated by local non-profit organizations, businesses and schools. Take a stroll around the building to get into the holiday spirit. In addition, grab a scavenger hunt sheet at the Children's Desk to make things even more interesting. If you post a selfie with one of our trees on Facebook or Instagram, tag it #TPLTrees18 to be entered to win an awesome prize.
