6th Grade Warriors Seek Return To Championship Game
Wamesit wins three of their first five games.

The 6th Grade Wamesit Warriors have started their 2011-12 campaign with an eye on getting back to the Championship.
After five games it is clear that there is a lot of work to do. The Warriors are 3-2 and have had some fun games. In their opening victory (43-26) Tyler Wilson paced the team with 12 points, while Kyle Harkins had 8, Patrick Carleton 6 & Blake Hiltz had 5.

Game Two was a tough loss to Salem (67-35). Kyle Harkins led the team with 12 points and the team fought hard till the very end.
Game Three was a victory against Masconomet and while Tyler led the team with 13 points, Braeden Hiltz was the star of the game with 12 points and 10 assists. Nolan Kavanaugh also had a great game scoring 7 points and dishing out 5 assists.

Game Four was also victory against Masco and this time Kyle Harkins led the squad with 17 points. Scott Mazzapica was a beast on the boards and his effort got the Warriors running on several fast breaks.
Game Five had the Warriors facing Saugus and they lost a hard fought battle (56-40). Tyler Wilson had 10, while Ben McKay and Scott Mazzapica each scored 8. Ben McKay and Scott Mazzapica each also had 10 SRA (Steals, Rebounds or Assists) which kept the Warriors close.
