Al Fresca Ristorante Expansion Approved

Selectmen have unanimously approved a request from a local restaurant owner to expand his location.

Mark Angluin came before the board at its most recent meeting with a request to make alterations which would expand his business, Al Fresca Ristorante, located at 1768 Main St.

Angluin told selectmen he wants to expand his business which would allow him to add up to 74 more seats for patrons, the Tewksbury Town Crier is reporting.

Al Fresca Ristorante opened its doors back in 2012.

The additional occupancy will also mean more jobs. Angluin said the restaurant will hire eight to 10 more employees following the expansion, according to the Town Crier.
