Alleged Tewksbury Bank Thief Signed Robbery Note as 'Santa Claus': Report

The note passed to the bank teller at the TD Bank on Main Street was signed with an aptly-timed name, police say.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The NH man who is accused of robbing the TD Bank on Main Street in Tewksbury Monday took a timely approach to writing the note he passed to the bank teller, reports the Lowell Sun.

The Sun's report further indicates that the note allegedly demanded small bills, no alarms or trouble, and was signed "Santa Claus," on the other side.
