TEWKSBURY, MA — A new community event focused on mental health and wellness is coming to Tewksbury next month.
The Healthy Vibes Spring Festival & Expo will take place Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.
Attendees can explore a wide range of activities, including live entertainment, outdoor games, dance performances and a roaming magician.
Food trucks such as Empanada Dada, Coast 2 Coast and What the Fork will be on site, along with a vendor marketplace featuring handmade goods, crafts and other items.
Families can also visit themed areas offering children’s activities, wellness resources, fitness games and interactive experiences like yoga, art and breathing exercises. A “touch-a-truck” with the Billerica Fire Department and a petting zoo are also planned.
Organizers say the event is designed for all ages and aims to promote suicide prevention, substance awareness and overall emotional wellness.
The first 300 attendees will receive free wellness bags with stress-management tools and snacks. Event organizers say the goal is for visitors to leave feeling informed, supported and inspired.
