• Methuen resident arrested in Tewksbury after joint police operation (shrewsburypost.com) — A Methuen man was arrested at a Tewksbury hotel after a joint police investigation into alleged fentanyl and cocaine trafficking in the Merrimack Valley. Tewksbury officers, working with Billerica police and the Middlesex Sheriff's Office, seized significant quantities of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine, nearly $19,000 in cash, and the suspect's vehicle. The man faces multiple trafficking charges and an additional warrant from Lowell District Court.
• Redmen still undefeated: Tewksbury High football too much for Lowell, Methuen (homenewshere.com) — Tewksbury High's football team is off to a 3-0 start, rolling past Methuen and Lowell with explosive offense and key defensive stands. The Redmen have outscored opponents 112-47 and now prepare for their first home game against Chelmsford this Friday at 7 p.m. Local fans will recognize standout performances from quarterback Will Harrison, Grayson Ryder, and several underclassmen.
