I encourage the community to return the favor to our sponsors and consider them when shopping or seeking the various services they offer. The Tewksbury High School Athletic and Facilities staff also deserve praise for ensuring that the facilities are maintained for events such as the Tewksbury Open and for our community’s enjoyment year round.

A total of 48 matches were played with 91 participants ranging in age from 12 to 74 years old. The weather mostly cooperated, making for great tennis all weekend. Trull Brook Golf and Tennis Center graciously opened their facilities for us on Saturday morning due to rain showers. The level of play continues to rise each year. This year there were numerous match tie breakers extending the play late into the evening Friday and Saturday. Local high schools and communities were well represented with players and coaches participating from Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Lowell, Melrose, Nashua, Tewksbury, Winchester, Wilmington and Westford.
