Armed Robber Hits Tewksbury Bank, Leads Police On Chase
Police were still looking for the man on Saturday after he crashed a motorcycle in Lawrence.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Local police on Saturday were still searching for a man who robbed a Tewksbury bank and later crashed a motorcycle in Lawrence.
Tewksbury police said the man robbed the Salem 5 bank along Main Street on Friday with a gun. He then hopped on a motorcycle and sped away at speeds above 130 mph, police said.
The robber sped down I-495 and Route 114 before crashing in Lawrence.
