Authorities Issue Immigration Detainer After Tewksbury Drug Bust
Juan Guerrero-Montero gave police a fake name after he was busted dealing cocaine in a hotel parking lot, police said.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Authorities issued an immigration detainer for a Lowell man who police said ran after being busted in a drug transaction and gave a fake name.
Juan Guerrero-Montero, 34, was arrested Tuesday after an investigation in an Andover Street hotel uncovered Guerrero-Montero dealing cocaine in the parking lot, police said. Guerrero-Montero tried to drive away, police said, before being captured.
Police said Guerrero-Montero said he was Tomas Negron, of Florida, and had a Florida driver's license backing him up. Police determined he was in fact Guerrero-Montero, who had an outstanding drug trafficking warrant out of Lowell.

Guerrero-Montero was charged with distribution of a class b substance (cocaine), resisting arrest, failure to stop for police, possessing a false registry document, 3 counts of identity fraud, false information to law enforcement, misleading a police officer, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an outstanding warrant for trafficking cocaine, over 18 grams.
