Blood Links Serial Burglar To House Break-In: Tewksbury Police
The man arrested for a string of Tewksbury house break-ins was charged with another after police said he left his blood at the scene.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A man arrested for three house breaks around town in 2011 is now facing charges related a 2017 break-in after police said blood found in the home matched that of the suspect. Charges were submitted last month into Lowell District Court for Edward Flynn, 54, of Boston, police said Friday. Flynn is already in custody on other matters.
The most recent charges accuse Flynn of breaking into a home on Oct. 20, 2017 and stealing numerous items. Detectives found blood at the home, which was submitted to the state crime lab for DNA testing. Those results came back this June, matching the DNA profile of Flynn, police said.
He is charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, and destruction of property over $250.
