Sharon Pierce Honored for 14 years of Service at North Street

Dedicated and giving parent honored for her years of service.

The Principal and Staff of the North Street school organized and arranged a thoughtful ceremony to honor parent volunteer Sharon Pierce for her longstanding dedication to the school. Attendees included, 3 members of Pierce Family, the Fourth Grade classroom of Mrs. Cintolo and Mrs. Chasan, Principal Kimble, Mrs. Adams (3rd grade teacher), Sharon Zaremba & Diane Reppucci (school administrators), Mrs. Monica McBrine (school nurse), Ellen Roane, former longstanding PAC Co-Chair, Meredith Fahey, Current Co-Chair, Ann Flynn (former PAC Treasurer), Ann Gerry (PAC Member), Karen Nordstrom (former PAC Secretary), and Ron Page (school janitor).  The tree now stands proudly in front of the school.  Sharon looks forward to seeing it grow and bloom in the coming years!

During her tenure, Sharon assisted the school with PAC activities and fundraising for initiatives such as the Open Circle program and technology improvements such as classroom SmartBoards. Sharon has helped paint the school interior, plant flowers with children every year, and kept the longstanding North Street traditions alive, including the Mother's Day Plant Sale, Holiday Breakfast, Holiday Shop, and many more!

Sharon served the North Street PAC over 14 years while her 5 children attended the school, two of whom joined her at the ceremony. Her youngest, Madison, is heading off to the Ryan Middle School. Sharon will continue her work on behalf of schools in Tewksbury by serving on the Tewksbury Foundation Committee to assist with the Townwide Auction which benefits all the schools in town.
