Car Strikes Two Motorcycles on I-495 South in Tewksbury: State Police
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who fled the scene Monday night.

TEWKSBURY, MA—A car struck two motorcycles causing both to travel into the woods on I-495 South in Tewksbury Monday night, according to State Police.

State Police Sgt. Tom Ryan told Patch that at approximately 11:20 p.m. Monday night, two motorcycles were struck by a vehicle which subsequently fled the scene. The two motorcyclists later traveled off the roadway and into a wooded area.

Ryan told Patch that both operators were transported to Lowell General Hospital for minor injuries.
Ryan also added that the crash remains under investigation as it relates to the identification of the individual believed to be driving the vehicle which struck the motorcyclists. The vehicle is believed to be red, possibly a Honda Civic.
