The Dewing Elementary School kicked off its week long food drive with a movie night showing "Monsters University", where the cost of admission was at least two items for the food pantry. The school offered raffles and concessions and was delighted to collect cash donations, in addition to the foodstuffs, of $480. Throughout the week students brought in canned goods, boxed macaroni, wipes, applesauce and more to help neighbors in need. The Tewksbury Food pantry serves approximately 250 families and individuals in Tewksbury who are in need of temporary and long-term food assistance. Information about volunteering and donation opportunities can be found at www.tewksburypantry.org. Thank you to the Dewing community for its generous support!
