Second graders at the Dewing School recently spent three days learning about soils. The conducted several experiments that taught about the properties of different types of soils. These young scientists made hypotheses, took careful notes of their observations and drew lots of conclusions about different types of soils. Their work was supported by a large group of parent volunteers who helped the students conduct experiments.
