Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP):

At its April 22, 2020 meeting, the Northern Middlesex Metropolitan Planning Organization (NMMPO) voted to release the draft FFY 2021-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public comment. The TIP is a programming and management document containing all federally funded transportation projects planned over the next 5 years. The TIP also contains the program of projects for the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA). This comment period runs through May 22, 2020.

There are several ways to comment on the draft TIP:

1. By attending a public meeting on May 12, 2020 and providing comments. This meeting will likely be virtual. Information can be found below:

The Northern Middlesex MPO will reconvene on May 27, 2020 to consider comments received and vote on endorsement of the document. More details will be announced prior to the meeting.
