Dramatic Last Minute Goal Propels Boys Lacrosse
Tewksbury High School fired home the game winner with about 43 seconds remaining to escape with a 12-11 road win over Chelmsford on Wednesday.
The Tewksbury High School boys lacrosse allowed a late-game lead to escape its grasph on Wednesday afternoon. But the Redmen wasted no time in bouncing back as they snagged a dramatic road victory over Chelmsford.
In a back-and-forth tilt, Tewksbury took a three-goal lead in the fourth quarter before the Lions came back to tie the score at 11-11 with 1:56 to play.
But Colin Quinn sent the team home with the win after he found the back of the net with 43.5 seconds left, sealing a 12-11 decision that improved the locals' record to 8-3 on the year.
