Dump Truck Crashes Into Tewksbury House
The driver suffered minor injuries and fire officials were asking drivers to avoid Shawsheen Street at Anthony Road as the truck is removed.
TEWKSBURY, MA -- A dump truck driver suffered minor injuries after his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the corner of a house in Tewksbury Monday afternoon. No other injuries were reported, according to Tewksbury fire department officials, which posted images of the crash on its Twitter feed.
The house is on the corner of Shawsheen Street and Anthony Road. Tire tracks show where the truck left the road and crossed the driveway and lawn of the house. There was significant damage to the house, with siding, splintered wood and shattered glass littering the lawn around the impact point.
