About The Speaker: Tony DeMarco was an Italian kid from Boston's North End, who rose through the boxing ranks to eventually become Welterweight Champion of the World during the Golden Era of Boxing. Tony, one of Boston's most beloved sports figures, is now active in the community and involved with many organizations such as the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame, the Sons of Italy, and the Veterans Boxing Association.
