B-17 Flights and Ground Tours

Take a tour (or flight!) on a real-life B-17 and imagine what it was like for the brave young soldiers during WWII. Sit in the radio room, walk through the bomb bay, crawl through the tunnel to the nose and sit in the pilot's seat.

Location: Lawrence Municipal Airport, 492 Sutton St., Lawrence. Flights start at 10:15 a.m.; ground tours start when morning flights are finished (could be before noon, but usually starts no later than 2 p.m.), and last tour starts at 5:30 p.m.
