
The Tewksbury Police Department, in cooperation with the Community Services Department, will be hosting the 13th Annual Community Safe Halloween on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Center on Livingston Street.
There will be games for the children to play, as well as arts & craft tables courtesy of the Tewksbury Public Schools, Tewksbury Food Services, Tewksbury Public Library and Lowell General Hospital. Children’s Treasure Chest will be providing free face painting and the Police Department will be offering temporary Tewksbury Police Department tattoos.
There will be a Tewksbury Police Department Motorcycle Unit demonstration on the tennis court at 11:30AM, a costume contest at 12PM by the snack shack, a Police K9 dog show at 1PM on Memorial Field, touch a truck in the rear parking lot, a visit from the Spinner’s Canaligator & possibly the State Police Air Wing landing in Obdens filed. The Police Department will be providing free trick or treat bags to all the kids in attendance.

In case of rain, a smaller version of the event will take place at the Tewksbury Senior Center.
