Local author Kate Genovese will discuss her latest book -- Two Weeks Since My Last Confession. The book tells the story of one woman's survival in the face of serious childhood abuse and addiction. It is a tale which chronicles the triumph of the human spirit over its enemies -- not only external enemies but also the ones we find within ourselves. Kate is a member of the National Writer's Union and also the author of two previous books -- Thirty Years In September: A Nurse's Memoir and Loving Joe Gallucci: Love and Life with Hepatitis C. Kate is a registered nurse and lives in the Boston area with her family.
