About The Event: "The First Lady of Boxing" Christine Lewis will explore the history of boxing in the Merrimack Valley. Christine will highlight Martin Flaherty's Wamesit Health Farm, the center for boxing in Tewksbury in the early 1900's.
About The Speaker: Christine Lewis is a boxing historian; past guest speaker of the Tewksbury Historical Society; and writer for several local publications, including the Merrimack Valley Magazine.
