USA Track & Field - New England will host the third annual Massachusetts Middle School Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, November 5, 2011.
This meet provides an opportunity for middle school runners in grades 5-8. It is open to all schools - public, parochial, private, and charter - and home schoolers in those grades are welcome to compete as well. This is a school-based competition, not club-based; runners' affiliations will be listed as their schools.
The format will be the same as last year - boys and girls races for grades 5/6, grade 7, grade 8, and a team 'championship' race. There will be only one team race each for both boys and girls. The reace is 1.7 miles long.
