About The Speaker: Carlo Rotella is the author of the critically-acclaimed boxing books -- Cut TIme: An Education At The Fights and Good With Their Hands: Boxers, Bluesmen, and Other Characters From The Rust Belt. Carlo is the Director of the American Studies Program and the Director of the Lowell Humanities Series at Boston University. Carlo, a columnist for the Boston Globe, also writes for New York Times Magazine and Washington Post Magazine, and commenates for WGBH FM.
