Extras Wanted for Movie Filming Saturday in Tewksbury
Mark Wahlberg's brother Jim is filming in Tewksbury Saturday and looking for participants for his film about drug addiction.

Jim Wahlberg, actor Mark Wahlberg’s brother, is seeking participants in a film about drug addiction.
Wahlberg’s film, titled “If Only,” is about two teenage boys who experiment with and ultimately become addicted to drugs and their parents’ very different responses. The film ends with the death of one of the boys, according to an announcement from Louise Griffin of the Merrimack Valley chapter of GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing).
The funeral scene will be shot at St. Williams Church, Main Street in Tewksbury, on Saturday.

Wahlberg is seeking extras for the film, Griffin said. He is also committed to putting a face and name to this disease. At the end to the film, he will have parents or family members holding a picture of their loved one lost to addiction. A voice-over will give the loved one’s name and dates of birth and death.
“I realize that this is a very difficult request,” Griffin said. “There is no pressure to participate.”
