Father, Son From Tewksbury Accused In Lowell Stabbing

Cameron Varney, 57, and Jacob O'Donnell-Varney, 20, were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Tuesday.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A father and son from Tewksbury were scheduled to be arraigned on felony charges in Lowell District Court Tuesday. Police say Cameron Varney, 57, and Jacob O'Donnell-Varney, 20, both of Tewksbury, attacked a man with a broken bottlem at the Charles A. Gallagher Intermodal Terminal around 6 p.m. Thursday night. The victim used a box cutter to defend himself and both he and Varney were treated at a local hospital for injuries stemming from the fight.
