Fentanyl Trafficking Suspect Arrested In Tewksbury

Wilmington resident David Forster was arrested this week after a joint investigation by police in Tewksbury and Billerica.

TEWKSBURY, MA – A Wilmington man was arrested in Tewksbury this week and charged with fentanyl trafficking, police said. David Forster, 52, was taken into custody on Monday following a joint investigation by detectives in Tewksbury and Billerica.

Forster was identified as an alleged drug dealer. Police approached him at Route 38 Motors and searched his vehicle. Inside, they allegedly found 30 grams of fentanyl.

Police said Forster resisted officers' initial attempts to place him into custody. He was charged with trafficking fentanyl and resisting arrest.
