Food Drive Scheduled For Tewksbury Community Pantry
The Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee is hosting a food drive, June 27.
TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee is hosting a food drive for the Tewksbury Community Pantry, June 27.
The collection will be in the Oakdale Plaza Market Basket Parking Lot, from 9 a.m. to noon. Residents who cannot attend can have their donations picked up, no contact.
According to the flier, the pantry needs the following items:

- Peanut butter and jelly
- Hot and cold cereal
- Pancake mix
- Coffee, tea and hot cocoa
- Laundry soap
- Flour, sugar and cooking oil
- Hand soap and shampoo
- Juices and condiments
Donors are asked not to give items in glass.
At the height of the coronavirus outbreak, the Pantry wrote to the community thanking people for their generosity.

"History has shown repeatedly that in times of great difficulty, there are often people who rise to the occasion," they wrote. "This pandemic is proving to be no different."
