Former Tewksbury High Wrestler Held Without Bail: Report

TEWKSBURY, MA—A Tewksbury Memorial High School graduate and state wrestling champion was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing Wednesday, reports the Lowell Sun.

Broc A. Dokos, a 2016 Division 2 State Wrestling Champion and TMHS Football player, plead not guilty to charges of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury and assault in Lowell District Court Tuesday. Dokos, of 120 Colonial Rd. Lawrence, was placed into custody Monday after an alleged attack left the victim temporarily unconscious and with broken bones, according to Tewksbury police.
The Lowell Sun reports that Stephen Bonugli, 18, of Tewksbury was sitting on a couch at 31 Judique Road when Dokos allegedly "stormed" into the living room and punched Bonugli in the face numerous, according to police.

The State Champion wrestler and former TMHS football player turned himself into Tewksbury Police on July 4. Dokos' bail was set at $25,000 after his arrest pending arraignment.
