Event Information: All library events below are intended for adults, unless noted otherwise. Events are free, but registration is typically required. Register by calling 978-640-4490 x 205, emailing rhayes@mvlc.org, or clicking the link after each listing. Events are generally held in the library’s first-floor Meeting Room. Authors will sign and sell books after their talks to anyone interested. All events are sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library. Film screenings are co-sponsored by the Tewksbury Lions Club.

Drop in and take part in National Novel Writing Month! Can you write at least 50,000 words of a novel between November 1 and November 30? The library will provide the space, power, coffee and moral support each Monday night! Bring your own snacks, laptop, and writing materials.

Attend a screening of A Place At The Table, a new documentary that shines a light on the nearly 50 million Americans, including 1-in-4 children, who struggle with food insecurity and hunger. Friday, December 6, 7:30pm -- Holiday Event: Christmas Concert with the Merrimack Valley Chorus
The Merrimack Valley Chorus will offer a free Christmas Concert as part of the library’s Festival of Trees Opening Night. Arrive early and view more than 30 Christmas trees decorated by community organizations, local businesses, and Tewksbury families, displayed throughout the library. Trees will be up until January 3. Opening Night, which begins at 6pm, will also consist of activities for children, including a family Christmas Concert with Steve Blunt at 6:30pm. No registration required.
